Our Process


Understanding the Need, Opportunity and Challenges

In  the initial phase of the search, we listen carefully to what you tell  us about the need you have and the candidate that will be the best fit.  We need to understand:

          

     •    The job requirements and criteria for the person to fill it
     •    The roles and responsibilities associated with the position
     •    The nuances of your culture and environment
     •    What is it about your company that will attract candidates
     •    Your parameters of compensation and benefits
     •    The challenges you’ve faced in identifying candidates

            

We will work with you to:
       

     •    Develop the selection process and criteria
     •    Develop the position profile and candidate specifications
     •    Develop specialized recruitment strategies
     •    Develop a research and outreach strategy to generate a qualified applicant pool
          

The Search
         

During  this phase, we utilize our network in search of the candidate that will  meet your needs. We will offer feedback and market data which can  sometimes affect the position parameters. We will:
         

     •    Make a recruiting plan
     •    Identify possible sources of candidates by:
          o    Contacting individuals in our existing network
          o    Contacting individuals in professional, industry and diversity specific associations
          o    Identifying, with you, source companies where candidates may currently work
          o    Use of various name generation methods
          o    Use of professional social networking sites
     •    Profile potential candidates
     •    Determine if the candidate is a good match for you
     •    Determine if your firm is a good match for the candidate
     •    Develop agreed-upon submittal information and present the candidate to you
       

Making the Hire

          

The  final and most important phase requires the most trust in that we want  the hire to happen only as long as it is in everyone's best interest. We  will:
        

     •    Prep both you and the candidate so you have a productive interview
      •    Debrief to ensure that both parties have the information necessary to make a decision
     •    Provide background and reference checking
     •    Consult with you to formulate and extend a offer that will be accepted
     •    Close the offer with both sides, arrange acceptance and schedule start date
     •    Prep the candidate for a resignation that pre-empts counter-offers
     •    Post-hire: ongoing follow-up, coaching and integration support
